UWC national committees

 

Every year, UWC national committees in 140 countries will nominate students to attend 12 UWC schools and colleges all over the world as representatives of their countries.

 

UWC national committee members are volunteers - they can be UWC alumni, educators, community leaders or UWC supporters. National committees' main role is to select students - on their merit or potential - to attend UWCs or UWC short programmes every year. In addition, many national committees also raise funds for scholarships, and organise UWC short programmes in their countries.

 

Thanks to the hard work of UWC national committees everywhere, more than 1,200 students are selected annually to attend UWC schools and colleges.
