Co-curricular Programme
At UWC schools and colleges, the enthusiasm of staff and students for the Co-curricular Programme is that which gives UWCs their distinctive character. Service to the community, cultural and outdoor activities are all part of the challenge and excitement of a UWC education.
UWC Changshu China aims to cultivate a vibrant and diverse community of students and staff who will develop as they work on projects together. Our aim is to grow a programme with both variety and depth, with particular focus on the three pillars of the college:
-
Chinese culture and society;
-
Environmental issues; and
-
Youth leadership.
In our Co-curricular Programme, student initiatives are not only encouraged but also expected by the school. We expect that students will commit fully to their chosen activities and also show us the UWC values of responsibility, compassion and challenge in action.
